Rigid cage stranding  machines are another very high speed machine with the ability to produce multiple wire combination strands of Copper or Aluminum in one pass.
The machine is constructed with a line of independently geared and reversible rotating cages or sections that rigidly hold the bobbins in multiples of 6 and pay-off while rotating.  The first cage is holding 6 bobbins, the next 12, 18, a.s.o up to 30 bobbins.
A core wire pay-off at the beginning of the line is fed through the rigid cages to make the common  19, 37,  61 and 91 wire constructions. 
The bobbin diameter ranges are from 400mm up to 710mm.
High speed operation is automatically controlled by a safe linear acceleration of the Cages in relation to the decrease in wire on the spools.
This machine is suitable for:
- Stranding  of unilay,  reverse concentric,  round,  compressed,  compacted
or sector shaped  (straight  or prespiraled) in copper or aluminum.
